If you have surfed in colder climates you know that it takes a lot more than a pair of boardshorts and a surfboard. When surfing in below freezing temperatures, you definitely need the appropriate gear to mitigate risk and ensure you have a positive and safe experience. When the temperature drops below freezing, the game changes and you need to be proactive and strategic about planning your surf sessions.
Wetsuits are just magical pieces of rubber that allow us to do what we love, even in the dead of winter! You can find sizing charts online for pretty much any brand and they are a great starting point when trying to figure out your sizing. When you look at the chart, the height dimension tends to be more accurate than the weight, so make sure you fall within the range they offer there.
