A polar bear dip for youth mental health.

With three Cities (Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto) Brainfreeze is worth melting for. It's energizing, exciting, and Instagrammable from tide in to tide out. People of all ages gather in subzero temperatures and voluntarily jump in freezing water. If you're looking to #DoSomething for youth mental health, this is a blissful way to do it.

There's a $25 registration fee for each polar bear participant and everyone is asked to fundraise a minimum of $100. 100% of that money goes to Jack.org's youth mental health programs. Send a video of your dip to friends and family and they'll pretty much just throw money at you (because funny faces).

Brainfreeze began as a #RideYourWay initiative between Surf The Greats and Jack.org. It's now become a signature event for both communities.

This is what you're freezing for.

Jack.org is Canada's only charity training and empowering young leaders to revolutionize mental health. Through Jack TalksJack Chapters, and Jack Summits, young leaders identify and dismantle barriers to positive mental health in their communities. Jack.org is working towards a Canada where all young people understand how to take care of their own mental health and look out for each other. A Canada without shame, where all those who need support get the help they deserve. With thousands of young leaders across every province and territory in Canada, we’re only just getting started.
